We are all about graduation!  Once students apply to graduate, we review their academic record to determine if they are on-track and provide the student and their advisor with an update of their graduation eligibility.  We also do the final degree certification, submitting a list of approvals and denials to the Registrar’s Office three times a year.

Before students reach graduation, departments will sometimes make exceptions to departmental requirements, and we are responsible for manually adjusting a student’s academic record to reflect substitution and waiver approvals.

Additionally, we complete NCAA certifications for student athletes, assessing each athlete’s academic progress in the College, thereby helping to inform their sport eligibility. Brett also works closely with the Department of Mathematics to issue permission numbers for math courses, assist advisors with math-related questions, and ensure students have met the necessary prerequisites to remain enrolled in certain math courses.
